2017. Manifestação Pacífica: Nada pode ter como seu destino outra coisa que não a sua origem (participation as hired sound artist). Multimedia art exhibition focused on the presidential impeachment 2016 and further political consequences for workers: 2 video loops, flyers, objects, sound collage and performance; part of the festival Oi Multiplicidade. I was hired to create the sound collage sim_não, collecting all impeachment votes in the chamber of deputies.

2017. Três-Tríade-Triângulo-Trio, by Infinito Menos (Mário Del Nunzio-Henrique Iwao- Matthias Koole). Composition for 2 electric guitars, objects and electronics, with video score, circa 45 min. 3 short solos, 3 movements reflecting each one the personality of each member, a complex section composed extravagantly by the trio, using a string of 44 “semantic triggers”, and a coda.

2017. Dead and Dying Pixels.Video-installation, drawing, loop. Video composed to evidence the dead, to dye and dying pixels of a projector projecting its obsolescence: projection only of white backgrounds and 3 shades of black in various combinations. Drawing made from marking the dead pixels at the wall, at the end of the installation period. [video-documentation]

2017. Rascunhos para Da Certeza (Drafts for On Certainty, with Matthias Koole). Reading of excerpts from Wittgenstein’s book, accompanied of electric guitar comments and slapstick sounds. Inspired in Japanese “rakugo” (落語) presentations. Circa 70 min.

2017. Harry & Tom: audiovisual collage using the Harry Potter saga movies as material. In 6 parts (I-IV short movies; V feature film; VI video-installation): I. Harry & Tom (all the names of Harry and Tom during the saga, in chronological order); II. Tom (only Voldermort’s names); III. Harry (only Harry’s names, in alphabetical order); IV. Riddle (only Voldermort’s names, in alphabetical order); V. Movie (all movies stacked but showing the scenes only when a name is mentioned); VI. Darkness (all movies in sequence, but showing the scenes only when a name is mentioned). [project page]

2016. Janela e Frestas (Window and Gaps). Series of photos of a very dirty window and of light gaps in a factory. Taken during the EX TRE MA residency, November to December 2016, Belo Horizonte.

2016. Solo Discoteca. Electronic music and specially made bonnets, +- 30 to 40 minutes. Vertical DJing “all at once” of 48 to 64 playlists, with separate volume control for each one of them. Distribution to the public of solipsistic bonnets. There are several documental recordings at the archive. It started as a live version for the album NAOAAACM Redux, but became a piece on its own. A headphone version is played in the concert program Arquipélago, when collaborating with Paulo Dantas.

2016. Éter 3. For silent viewer and orange color fading to black, with progressively larger durations (according to the fibonacci series). Three versions (10h06m, 55m, 34m). The 29 part version video is online. Suggestion for performance is to sit confortably and bow down as the color fades.

2016. Mulheres. Sound installation using as material all women proper names appearing in Chico Buarque’s discography, sound-projected in a virtual 38 sound-source grid. Based on the music version. Some graphic poetry art was made altogether for the catalogue of the exhibition Cartografias Sonoras. [audio documentation]

2015. Éter 2. Solo performance with amplified objects, no-input mixer and DMX light sistem in a dark and silent environment. Thirty sections with durations following the Fibonacci series are marked by light fading from color to black. Three types of actions: pause, silent improvisation, object organization. Started as an attempt to play the album Éter 2 live. Some recordings are audio documented on the archive.

2015. Dia Nacional do Combate à Humanidade (National Day of the Fight Against Humanity). Every August 02nd a text and a proposal for performance (feasible or not) in protest contra the human race. In 2015, a call for and execution of a panelaço (smashing of pans) against the human race (Santos Andrade Square, Curitiba); in 2016, call for a synchronic a-conscious sleeping of all Brazilians; in 2017, distribution of pamphlets in the center of Belo Horizonte and dissemination in posters (by the city and in the gallery SESI Minas) and request of non-action (human silence) (collaborating with 4e25). The 2017 text was published in Spanish on the book Entre. [page in portuguese]. The project has one page.

2015. Desidratar uma Melancia (with Marco Antônio Gonçalves). Photo exhibition, object-sculpture (watermelon dehydrated in a oven 40º-60º for 40 days), dehydrated watermelon and other fruits for ingestion, thank-you pamphlet and country music show with feedback and noise interventions. 2015. 31|01. Short movie – 14 min, combining the sound of Copacabana’s 2014-5 new year’s eve and images of the garbage disposed on the sand, filmed at dawn, next morning. [teaser presented in the Festival do Minuto (one minute festival)]

2014. 13 Horas de Nada (Thirteen Hours of Nothing). Video with no image and no sound. Available in two parts. Expanded and generalized version for visual or sound devices 24 Hours of Nothing (2015).

2014. Inscrição-Memória-Rasura (IMR). Multimedia performance (dance-music-video) with Dorothé Depeauw, Henrique Iwao, Mário Del Nunzio, Matthias Koole and Maya Dalinsky, +- 50 minutes. Video-score with dismembered bodies; protocols of actions; hybridization of the dance and music approaches. There is a video-summary.
But what about forgettings, deviations, insertions, and interchanges? Between earth and sky, the whole world. Erasures, displacements, new tracings. We were willing to learn the art of availability, guided mechanically by the illuminated spiral of the hours. Too much retention, masking, planned quarters, and the infinity of houses in the distance, almost indistinguishable squares. And the desert (instead of grains of sand). And the paths, traced, or traced but erased, now restored, at times created, at others invented.

2014. O Brasil Não Chega às Oitavas (“Brazil will not reach the round of 16”). Solo performance using cooking pans and utensils, plus electronics and video-projection, +- 50 minutes. Destructive pan-beating (“panelaço”), sound amplified, with minimal sound effects (some delay and some compression); projection or TV exhibition of the first period of the soccer game Brazil x Germany “1×7”, refilmed zooming the ball; fast interventions of a diatonic scale up to the 7th note every 5 minutes. 2013-on. QI:Quartas de Improviso / Quem Indica (with Matthias Koole). Free improvisation event combining music and possibly other areas of artistic and non-artistic making. Weekly guests participate without prior rehearsal. To date, 110 editions, in 10 seasons + specials, since May 2013. Organized with Matthias Koole (with whom he forms the duo of the house). There’s a page. There is a video documenting 101 “Wednesdays of improvisation”.

2013. Praia: Antes… (with Kandyê Medina & Julia Salaroli). Video dance with 2 dancers in a beach, Alter do Chão, north of Brazil, circa 15 min. Obtuse framings and the importance of the non-human in the dance relation. [video]

2013. Microshows 001-019.Unannounced gigs of improvised music in various venues, from 5 to 10 minutes in duration each, in 2011. Instrumental set consisting of everyday objects, amplified mini-board (a Mini-Tábua prototype), mini-amplifiers, oscillators, toys. Always with low volume, so as to be sonically very local and tiny and obliged to play with the sounds of the surrounding environment. Edited as a video work in 2013, circa 11 min. There are further occurrences but not compiled anywhere. Verãozão A (2018) is based on it. [video]
